About the Symposium


The symposium aims to explore the context of migration more deeply by focusing on questions such as women in refugee law, cultural integration, discursive, historical, political and social boundaries of legal systems including international refugee law, culturally relative state laws, policies, institutionalised social norms, complex experiences of diversity, conflicts in Syria, climate refugees, social change, post-war trauma, health, policy implications.

The symposium fulfils the criteria of ÜAK.
